Inspiration

I like to make things and that's why I have made bracelets and necklaces. Though last year I was into kumihimo, a Japanese craft which I really adore and started making those. In the end I made beautiful rope but I didn't know how to finish it. I tried looking online but most of them use kumihimo as a bracelet.

So, one day I was looking trough my stuff in the attic and found out that one of my passholder neckstrap is also like kumihimo and I found out how to finish it off. So here I only need a metal clasp. But thinking why did I start the project is because I want to make a strap without metal so that it won't scratch my phone or mp3-player.

It's funny that it took just a few seconds to figure it out while searching online didn't help. Sometimes inspirational things are closer than you think. The result is stunning and more importantly, I am very happy with this non-scratch strap.
