Home

What is the word that you associate 'HOME' with. I bet it is 'house', a roof upon your head. But a house doesn't immediately means home. Home is a place where I live and feel relaxed in. It doesn't have to be a house or an apartment.

The attic for example is a place that's messy and still I feel comfortable in it. A lot of stuff that need to be reviewed and handled. Nonetheless it's also calm. Just like my bedroom it's a place I love to be in. The thing about home is, it can be big or small.

As a lazy person, I like the small part cause it's easier to clean. But there was a time I want to live in a big house with a lot of stuff. The thing is that the size doesn't really matter. For fun I searched for interior designs online. Some are incredible pretty and neat. Once before I wished for that too but now I know it's unrealistic.

A character from a person has to match the interior if not, it won't be feeling like home. One person isn't another. We are all individuals with a different taste. So being realistic and finding what works for myself wasn't easy. I had trail and errors when looking for the right interior but what home defines is very broad. Here is a bit of how I think of home.

Home is the place where I can do my terrible dance move or jump up and down.
Home is the place where I have family diners.
Home is the place where I feel safe and familiar.
Home is the place where I long for and want to be.
