February the first is the beginning of the year of the Horse. So all those born in the year of the horse. Congratulation to all of you living another or 12 years. I am not going to do something special but I did took a lemon peel bath which is for getting rid of all the 'bad' air/spirit.
This year I did put up some decoration to welcome the new year. Cause usually I don'decorate, for example during Christmas I didn't put anything on display. I even got rid of a lot of stuff last year cause I donated my old ornaments.
The thing with Chinese new year is that the decorations are very easy to store and don't take up a lot space. Within 10 minutes I decorated the living room with red posters and funny paper ornaments. Today is the last day that the Chinese are celebrating the new year.
For four whole days we celebrate the new year and that is special. But tomorrow I have to get all the ornaments down and put them back in the closet for next year.
So the last day of Chinese festivities in this great year of the Horse. I wish everyone a happy new year and stay healthy.
