Fix it!

Consuming less is easier said than done. It's so difficult to not buy anymore these days. Walking in a store and people expect you to buy things. Basically the whole shop is designed to get your money out of your pockets.

But there are some household items everybody needs like clothespin and a dry carousel. Okay, being totally honest not everybody needs a dry carousel but I just love it 'cause it's so convenient.

My dry carousel is over a decade old and its broken and some clothespin are too. But I still use it because I fixed it. On the side its ripped but I used superglue and a hotglue pistol to fix it.

And all the broken clothespin have been replaced. I used to have more than one carousel but they broke beyond repair so I took all the clothespin off and use them as spares. The funny thing is that the newer ones were so fragile and break so easily that one of the  first ones I have outlived the newer ones.

Sometimes the clothespins break because it has to endure the warmth of the sun or you step on it. I always try to fix it but sometimes it's just broken and will find its way to the trash bin. But occasionally I can do thisl for example:

my spares in one place
I don't recommend to buy the left one
cause if its broken you can't fix it.
I had thought about buying the wooden ones but I have to use these plastics until its broken before I purchase it. I find it laughable that I want to do good but don't think about the consequences. If I have the wooden ones and throw the plastics in the trash. I haven't done anything good, like lessen the burden on nature's resources. All I will be is looking 'nature friendly' for appearance which I don't give a crap about.
