Dishes

At home I always hand wash the dishes and that is a known fact for there is no dish washer in our home. So sometimes when we have guest over I have to stand a little bit longer in the kitchen. Today my sister came around and she had the choice of cooking here or her own apartment. She has a dish washer at her place cause they never like to wash. 

I think she choose to cook here because I clean the dishes faster than a machine. And she doesn't have to clean the table and all. Sometimes she comes around for the convenient. Our home is kind of like her personal convenient store. She comes around just to drink soup or eat and leaves with some extra's.

There is nothing wrong in that but I think she really takes us for granted sometimes. Of course she doesn't come around empty handed every time. I think that makes us family and those extra dishes doesn't take me any more than 10 extra minutes. 

Funny how something small like dishes can make me think about this.
