I never really used deodorant. In high school I used it because everyone was spraying. At that time I was already very conscious about environment and pricing. I used a roller deodorant that worked without alcohol and was caring for my skin. Afterwards I found out I was not really sweating the smelly odor. I also made sure that my armpits are dry after sporting.
So for around a decade or so I didn't use deodorant and especially not in the winter. But during the summer I do feel the sweat and want to prevent it. I have seen the French using a rock as deodorant and want that too. I looked and saw the expensive variation. The ones that are marketed as deodorant cost around €6,- to €7,- but the one for men stopping the bleeding cost a fraction merely €2,-
The active ingredient of both product is aluin so I don't care how it's packaged and choose for the less package and marketing. Also if the product doesn't work as deodorant I can always use it as blood stopping product. So if you live drop by in the Netherlands or Belgium don't forget to take one of these as souvenir or as deodorant for traveling. I forgot to say it's so small it fits in the palm of my hand (7x2x2,5 cm). At the time of writing it's still priced at €2,- at Kruidvat but if the price gets higher after this is not my fault. Also I don't get paid or get sponsored by them.
